Work

Proof, not
promises.

Systems we have built for firms, nonprofits, teams, and small businesses. Real work, in plain language.

01

Professional services firm

Two systems that finally agree

A growing firm whose billing system and accounting software kept drifting apart.

The problem

Invoices were created in one system and had to show up in the other. The two spelled clients differently, a sync setting was quietly overwriting project names, and nobody could say for sure which invoices had made it into the books.

What we built

We reconnected the two systems, fixed the settings that were overwriting records, and cleaned out hundreds of empty placeholder records. Then we built a repeatable exception report that shows exactly which invoices are missing from the books.

The result

Every one of 815 invoices checked across both systems. Instead of a manual hunt each month, a short report shows what needs attention.

02

Youth nonprofit

Grant deadlines, found for you

A volunteer-run nonprofit that knew funding was out there but never had time to look.

The problem

Grants and government programs were scattered across dozens of websites, each with its own deadline and rules. By the time volunteers heard about one, it had usually closed.

What we built

A research process that pulls grant and program deadlines from government, foundation, and corporate sources, checks each one against the funder's own site, and flags the ones that are closed or a poor fit.

The result

One verified list with every deadline in one place, ranked by what to apply for first, so the board can act instead of search.

03

Competition team

One app instead of a hundred texts

A competition team running a season on group texts, spreadsheets, and paper schedules.

The problem

Schedules changed, sign-ups lived in three places, and parents asked the same questions over and over. On competition day, the running order was a PDF everyone squinted at.

What we built

A team app with boards, schedules, and sign-up slots, where coaches manage everything and parents see what they need without being able to break anything. On competition day it turns the event's schedule PDF into a running order with award tracking.

The result

In use this season by the team's coaches and parents. Parents tell us the schedules and announcements are specific to their own child, and easy to read and follow.

People are loving the app, and then quadruple impressed that you built it!

Parent booster club

Showing up online, without living on your phone

A volunteer board that needed to keep families and sponsors engaged, with no one who had time to post.

The problem

Posting consistently takes hours a week that volunteers do not have, and video felt out of reach without an editor.

What we built

Social posts drafted in the club's own voice and scheduled across platforms automatically, plus a quick way to turn photos and clips into polished short videos for Reels and other short-form feeds.

The result

A steady, on-brand presence online, with videos that look professionally edited, in a fraction of the time.

05

Community booster club

The fundraiser that ran itself

A volunteer fundraiser buried in paper order forms.

The problem

Every order invoice was keyed in by hand. Errors crept in, and volunteers lost nights to data entry instead of running the event.

What we built

A workflow that reads the order PDFs and drops clean, structured records into one place, ready to total and fulfill.

The result

Hours of manual entry gone each cycle, fewer errors, and volunteers back on the work that matters.

06

Dance studio

Ready on day one

A new studio that wanted to open with its systems already running.

The problem

Opening a studio means a hundred setup tasks and no system to track them, and planning conversations full of good ideas that never quite turn into action.

What we built

A start-up process with an automated check-off list so nothing slips, and a new website so the studio had a presence from the first day.

The result

We took talking notes to a working process in under two weeks. The studio opened on a clear runway, with the admin handled.

07

House of Honey product

TrackStitch

A music-cutting app built for dance teachers, not audio engineers.

The problem

Cutting recital music means fighting professional audio apps for hours, and it still comes out rough. Those tools were built for engineers, not for teachers on a deadline.

What we built

TrackStitch, a simple app that makes clean, professional-sounding cuts in minutes, with none of the learning curve.

Where it is now

It is in active pilot, in the hands of teachers at a dance studio. They cut their own music quickly, and it sounds polished.

08

The practice itself

Our own systems

A new practice has to prove its method before it has a long client list.

The problem

It is easy to claim you build good systems. It is harder to show it.

What we built

The brand voice, design system, automation stack, and content cadence that run House of Honey are the same kind of systems we build for clients.

The result

The site you are reading is the case study. What you hire is what you get.

We would rather show you than tell you.
